House Judiciary Democrats release 50-page report on Trump’s alleged involvement in Epstein files

Latest News MS NOW POLITIKOOL · LATEST NEWS

House Judiciary Committee Democrats published an unsigned staff report of more than 50 pages on Monday, eight days ahead of the election, asserting that President Donald Trump took part in Jeffrey Epstein's abuse of young women in the mid-to-late 1990s. MS NOW reports that it includes at least one new accusation supported only by a woman's conversations with committee staff, plus older claims that remain unsubstantiated. Trump has long denied any sexual misconduct with women linked to Epstein and has said Epstein's crimes were unknown to Trump.

Democrats also accuse Attorney General Todd Blanche of possible obstruction and witness tampering tied to a meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, fault the Justice Department for withholding evidence, and urge an independent special counsel. Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., the committee's top Democrat, said Congress needs the complete files the law requires. The staff paper also sets Trump's past statements against emails, deposition transcripts, drawings and signatures.

White House spokesperson Lauren Bis denied the allegations. Blanche has defended the department's document review as expeditious, though a federal judge ruled in June that the department was violating the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The department is appealing.
