St. Paul, Minnesota, Police Chief Axel Henry has filed a lawsuit accusing Mayor Kaohly Her of sexually harassing him and retaliating against him, according to a 73-page complaint. Henry, who has led the department since 2022, says Her made explicit sexual remarks toward him, including comments about his body, and made unwanted physical contact with him, according to Fox News.

Among the incidents described in the filing: during an awards ceremony, when Henry wore a ribbon reading "MFF" for Mobile Field Force, Her allegedly asked what the initials meant, then said she'd first read it as "MILF" and joked about wanting one. The complaint also states that during a budget meeting, Her reached beneath a conference table and touched Henry's thigh. Henry further alleges Her confided that her marriage was struggling, pressed him to grow closer to her, and warned that things would not work between them otherwise. He says Her also showed up at the department gym whenever she knew he'd be there, called him and other staffers "beefy," and mimicked an orgasm while working out nearby.

The suit additionally describes a December meeting at a cigar lounge, where Henry, Her, and St. Paul Port Authority President Todd Hurley discussed relocating the downtown police station; Her allegedly warned she would tell people Henry had grabbed her rear if she didn't get her way. Her has said her attempts at humor missed the mark and has agreed to cooperate with an independent investigation into the allegations.
