Trump savages ‘total loser’ Bill Maher in 1,300 word rant after Karoline Leavitt appearance

Donald Trump used a lengthy Sunday night online post to lash out at comedian Bill Maher, calling him a "COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER." The outburst, which ran to roughly 1,300 words, came after Trump's former press secretary Karoline Leavitt was a guest on Maher's program Real Time with Bill Maher. It was the show's first broadcast since Maher ate at the White House on October 15 with Trump, Kid Rock and Stephen A. Smith, according to The Independent.

On Friday's broadcast, Maher claimed no other midterm candidate had ever polled so poorly as Trump, teased him over remarks about Senator Jon Husted's physique, and asked Leavitt how Trump might behave as a lame duck. Maher also said he had sat through four hours of dinner without receiving a single compliment. Trump put the meal at two hours, possibly less.

Trump accused Maher of inventing poll numbers, alleged that a laughter machine produces the audience reactions, and said Maher pushed for a second White House visit through an intermediary. He also described Maher as nervous and bruised at their first dinner. The day after that dinner, Trump had told reporters the two men liked one another. Maher has not replied.
