‘Big Balls’ of DOGE fame gives exclusive look at new Trump mission to overhaul government

Edward Coristine, the former DOGE engineer widely known by the nickname "Big Balls," has moved into a new job at the White House: helping build America. gov, the administration's attempt to give people a single starting point for federal information and, over time, for completing government services online. He described his work in an interview with Fox News Digital.

The revamped site debuted on Sept. 29 as an AI-powered portal that pulls material from thousands of federal websites. Coristine works on it alongside the National Design Studio. At the launch, President Donald Trump identified him as the project's lead engineer and gave him public thanks.

Coristine said the sheer number of federal sites, which he put at 29,000, is absurd, since citizens are left to work out which one applies to their particular need. He said his stint at DOGE exposed him to complaints that dealing with the government means wading through a maze of bureaucratic services, and that experience informs his current project.

He joined DOGE at 19, after several months at Elon Musk's company Neuralink.
