Trump Campaigns in Ohio as Democrats Look to Flip Seat

President Donald Trump is on the road again, making an Ohio stop as he works his way through states with midterm contests. His visit comes as Democrats press hard to flip seats in states that have traditionally leaned Republican, and Ohio is one of the places where they hope to pick up a seat. The stop is the latest in a series of campaign appearances he has been making across the map, according to NBC News.

Voting itself is also getting underway. Georgia, a state with major weight in the fight for Senate control, opens early voting on Tuesday. Iowa, Kansas and North Carolina follow with their own early voting periods during the same week, so residents of four states can begin casting ballots almost at once.

NBC News correspondent Ryan Nobles reported on the president's Ohio visit and the political landscape around it. Chief data analyst Steve Kornacki also appeared on TODAY to go through the numbers in detail as early balloting begins.
