MAGA crowd pummels protester during Trump rally

A woman wearing a shirt demanding the release of the Epstein files was beaten by people in the crowd at a Donald Trump rally at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday night, according to video of the event. Trump was speaking about Sherrod Brown, the Democratic Senate candidate in Ohio, when she stood up to display the shirt. Several attendees nearby tugged at her clothes, one man seemed to push her backward, and another appeared to hit her face and grab her hair as others chanted "USA." Police then removed her from the arena, according to The Independent.

From the podium, Trump called the person a paid protester working for the left and mocked the person's weight. Asked by a TMZ reporter about her motive, she answered with an obscenity aimed at the president.

The clips drew millions of views. Many commenters urged arrests and a lawsuit, while the political commentator Keith Edwards objected that the victim, not the aggressors, was escorted out. Others accused her of being an agitator. A Mahoning County sheriff's spokesperson told The Associated Press that nobody was arrested.
