Trump gushes about how attractive, athletic Sen. Jon Husted is: ‘I looked at his a**’

President Donald Trump used a Monday night rally in Youngstown, Ohio, to praise Senator Jon Husted's physique and athletic ability while urging voters to keep the Republican in office. Husted faces a challenge from Sherrod Brown, the Democrat who held the seat until 2025. The Independent reports that Trump's remarks about Husted's body drew attention, as did his comments about women in sports.

Trump said former coach Jon Gruden, who introduced him, had told him Husted was the best player on their 1985 University of Dayton team. Trump then described examining Husted's build and hands. He also asserted, without evidence according to the outlet, that Brown backs men competing in women's sports, and he remarked on the appearance of Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham.

Protesters repeatedly interrupted the event, and Trump answered with jokes about their weight and their mothers, calling some of them paid. Husted, appointed to the seat once held by Vice President JD Vance, trails in a CNN poll of likely Ohio voters: Brown has 49 percent to his 43. Boxer Jake Paul also addressed the crowd and criticized the demonstrators.
